Our Commitment

SilentID is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. We have implemented comprehensive policies and technical measures to prevent the exploitation of children on our platform.

Age Requirements

SilentID is designed for users aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

• Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• Identity verification requires a valid government-issued ID, which confirms the user is of legal age
• We terminate accounts immediately upon discovering a user is under 18

Content Policies

SilentID strictly prohibits any content that exploits or endangers children:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is absolutely prohibited
• Content depicting minors in any harmful, exploitative, or inappropriate manner is prohibited
• Grooming behaviour or attempts to contact minors are prohibited
• Any content that sexualizes minors, including AI-generated content, is prohibited

Detection and Prevention

We employ multiple layers of protection:

• Age verification: Government ID verification through Stripe Identity confirms users are 18+
• Content moderation: Automated systems and human review processes to detect prohibited content
• User reporting: Easy-to-use reporting mechanisms for users to flag concerning behaviour
• Account monitoring: Anti-fraud systems that detect suspicious account behaviour

Reporting Mechanisms

If you encounter any content or behaviour that may endanger children:

• In-app reporting: Use the report button on any profile or content
• Email: Contact us immediately at safety@silentid.co.uk
• Law enforcement: We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations

All reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Content violating our policies is removed immediately and accounts are terminated. We report illegal content to relevant authorities including the National Crime Agency (NCA) and NCMEC.

Enforcement Actions

Violations of our child safety policies result in:

• Immediate account termination with no appeal
• Permanent ban from creating new accounts
• Reporting to law enforcement authorities
• Cooperation with criminal investigations

Data Handling for Minors

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a user under 18:

• The account is immediately suspended
• All personal data is deleted within 72 hours
• Parents or guardians may contact us at privacy@silentid.co.uk
